There are many reasons to love our country. The United States of America gave the world a taste of true freedom. In America, your natural rights, given by the Creator, are acknowledged and respected in our Constitution, the highest law of our land. This is something that few people in the history of the world have ever come close to having. With dictators, monarchs, or democracies based only on the whims of a majority, most of the world lived under oppression until our American Declaration of Independence made a bold statement which shook the world: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Alaska Voices for Freedom is a group of citizens from communities across the southern half of Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula which has come together to defend the belief that the principles of liberty enshrined in our Constitution are timeless. We believe that America is abandoning its foundation of liberty one small step at a time. We are not as free as we once were. But in the firm belief that this nation can still be the shining symbol of freedom for generations to come, we have come together to peacefully raise our voices in defense of our beliefs, and do what part we can to restore and defend the American Vision of liberty and justice for all.
The American Moments broadcast is heard on radio throughout south-central Alaska on various radio frequencies. These spots are written by the members of Alaska Voices for Freedom.
